DJ SP developed a love of music from an early age; he got his first set of decks at just 11 years old and began perfecting his craft. By the time he had reached the age of 18, DJ SP was already DJing in cities across the UK, as well as holding down multiple residencies plus weekly mixshows on radio stations such as Subjam.

More recently DJ SP has supported and played alongside some of the world’s best DJs, including Red Bull Thre3style world champion ESKEI83, UK champion DJames, the UK’s #1 hip hop DJ Shortee Blitz and Capital Xtra’s Ras Kwame. In addition to this, his edits have been played by the likes of Red Bull Thre3style world champion DJ Puffy, even featuring in the winning set at the 2016 world finals.

DJ SP prides himself on his technical ability as a turntablist and scratch DJ, showcasing his technical prowess at every opportunity. In August of 2025 he was recruited by the legendary Grandmaster Flash to be a part of the Grandmaster Flash Day celebrations on Twitch; a lineup that also included the likes of Skratch Bastid, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Grandmaster Flash himself. In the club, these skills, combined with his in-depth music knowledge and party-rocking ability, means there is not a crowd, style, or genre that is off limits!
